Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara was born in Romania. She's now an actor from Romania and Germany. Her best-known films include Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. As the only children to Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu Alexandra stepped into showbiz early and landed up performing lead roles in various shows on television by the time she was sixteen. In the Oscar nominated film Downfall, her role as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudljunge was also critically acclaimed. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex and The Reader are also Oscar-nominated films starring this stunning diva. In the past, Alexandra has worked in several noteworthy national and international projects. A few of them include the British biographical film Control, the Greek film The Dust of Time, as well as the French historical miniseries Napoleon. Other roles she has held include being a jury member at both and the Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
