Aisling Bea

Aisling was born on March 16 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She is one of Ireland's top-rated and popular comedians. She's appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. Bea began her stand-up comedy career in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish TV shows as well as British series from the year 2009. In 2012, she started to appear regularly on sitcoms and sketch shows. After she received an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011 and then began appearing on numerous panel show where she is now a staple. She was a member of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team between 2016 and 2017 and is an ongoing contestant on its spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Born in the family of Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sibling named Sinead. In 2012 she won the So You Believe You're Funny Award for the second time. Bea Her maiden name, which is her birth name, is a tribute to her late dad. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 from Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian was an equine vet who took his own life at the age of three. Bea didn't learn how her father passed away until she turned thirteen. In 2017, Bea composed an essay for The Guardian about the suicide of her father's relatives and took on the stage name Bea to pay tribute. Bea was raised alongside her older sister Sinead and her mother Helen Moloney. Helen is a secondary teacher, jockey trainer as well as a former professional racer. They were obsessed with racing and horses. Bea began her career as an official guide for tourists for the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her passion was for acting, not racing.
